We have 2 sand arenas (indoor: 80ft X 150ft; outdoor: 125ft X 250ft), a Jump field (± 3 acres), and a galloping track. Our sand arenas are equipped with GGT footing that are watered and groomed daily. The grass outdoor arena includes a bank, trench, greenery hedge, and hill. The galloping track is groomed regularly and has a great view of the entire farm
Our barn is heated and includes 12'x12' stalls with ComfortStall Flooring, automatic waters, interior square yoke steel swinging doors - that allow horses to hang their head out of the stalls- along with a wood sliding door to close off the yoke. Every stall has a 48"x42" window that opens to the outside so horses can enjoy fresh air during the spring and summer months. We pride ourselves in having a clean and minimal dust environment for our horses that is sprayed down daily with a CleanCore Aqueous Ozone Machine
We feed Purina grain 2x daily, supplements as needed, and hay 3x daily- including steamed hay. Our supplements include, but not limited to; Cosequin, U7 Gastric Aid, Amplify, SuperSport, and Outlast
.
We have an entire barn dedicated to our wonderful retired horses. We currently have 5 retired/semi retired horses that get to live out their golden years just being a horse. Our retired horses are still very much spoiled including having a regular grooming schedule and being ridden on an as need basis depending on what the horse wants, but they are fully retired from competition. Our retired horses have 24 hour access to 10+ acre pastures, bedded stalls, automatic waterers, and fans (in the summer).
We have 80 acres dedicated to outdoor turnouts. Horses get at least eight hours of turnouts ever day. During summer months, horses are turned out overnight, in fly sheets and masks, to prevent coat bleaching and heat exhaustion. During winter months, horses are turned out during the day and are blanketed according to outside temperatures. All pastures include one heated automatic waterer and plenty of grass to graze. Also, there is a 40'x60' sand paddock available for exercise or turnout purposes.
We have 160 acres for the growing and tending to a year supply of hay for our horses and other clients. Our hay fields incorporate a mixture of teff and brome Every year we test our hay for nutrient composition. Please contact Zach Winkel for more details
